Health In America (“Hub”, “we”, or “us”), California OneCare Education Fund (“Nonprofit Organization,” “Sponsor,” “we,” or “us.”) and NurseTalk Media (“Sponsor,” “we,” or “us.”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. The term “Hub” refers to Health In America, and its sponsors California OneCare Education Fund and NurseTalk Media.

This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of Health In America, a Media Hub, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through healthinamericahub.org (the “Platform”), whether as a guest or a registered user.

When accessing the Platform, the Hub will learn certain information about you, both automatically and through voluntary actions you may take, during your visit. This policy applies to information we collect on the Platform and in email, text, or other electronic messages between you and the Platform.

We do not use cookies. The Hub reserves the right to use pixels for Google Analytics.

Email Policies

We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and will not disclose your email address to any third parties.

The Hub only collects your name and email address in order to send you emails or to process donations from you. If you sign up for emails, or make a donation, you must give us your information. As a visitor to this Platform, you can engage in most activities without providing any personal information. It is only when you seek to sign up for emails or make a donation that you are required to provide information.

As a general rule, we do not sell, rent, lease or otherwise transfer any information collected whether automatically or through your voluntary action.

The Hub may use software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.
